An exceptional garden by the Trieux River

Created in the 1960s by Prince Peter Wolkonsky, the Gardens of Kerdalo stretch over 18 hectares of hillside facing the Trieux River. This enchanting site is now classified as a “Remarkable Garden” by the French Ministry of Culture.

A botanical journey

The garden offers an impressive diversity of rare plants, exotic species, and beautifully crafted landscapes. From Italian-style terraces to a grand pergola, waterfalls, and reflective pools — every turn reveals a visual and sensory surprise.

A place filled with poetry

Kerdalo feels like a living painting: vibrant, ever-changing, and harmonious. The plant palette evolves with the seasons — featuring spectacular blooms in spring and fiery hues in autumn.

Practical information

The garden is open to the public from April to September. Please note it closes for one week in June and again in September for maintenance. A visitor brochure is provided at the entrance, and guided tours are occasionally available.
