## The Gouffre: a natural wonder

**Plougrescant** is famous for its **Gouffre**, where the sea crashes between two towering rocks framing a tiny stone house. This postcard-perfect scene is one of the most photographed views in the region.

## Untamed coastal beauty

Here, the coastline is wild and dramatic. Trails like the **Ajoncs d’Or Path** lead you along windswept cliffs, through moorlands and rock formations sculpted by the sea and time. The **GR34 hiking trail** runs through Plougrescant, offering stunning views over the English Channel.

## A peaceful village

The village itself is quiet and charming, featuring a twisted-spire church and typical Breton stone houses — the perfect stop for a tranquil break between coastal hikes.
